Larry Ovalle

Vice President, Innovation and Technology, Jacuzzi Group

Larry Ovalle has been with Jacuzzi Group for more than a decade, during which he has held multiple positions in addition to his current role as VP of innovation and technology including sr. director of product, technology, and director of marketing, strategic growth. Ovalle currently leads the Innovation and Technology team, which involves collaborating with the engineering and commercial teams to bring Jacuzzi® innovation to market, and also manages software development teams for the SmartTub® mobile application. He enjoys the investigation aspect of product development to ensure Jacuzzi® hot tubs are continually engineered with the consumer in mind. This research and development entails understanding the overall customer experience expected from our premium products on all aspects of so Jacuzzi Group can perfect its products to best suit consumers’ health and wellness desires. Continuing to raise the bar in performance, technology so Jacuzzi Group can perfect its products to best suit consumers’ health and wellness desires. Continuing to raise the bar in performance, technology, and meeting consumers’ changing needs while making products that are easy to use, enjoyable, and more energy efficient is one of Ovalle’s most important efforts.

He has a long history of working in the consumer durable goods industry as well as extensive experience creating strategy and managing product development for hardware and software platforms. Ovalle has a keen ability for creating go-to market deployment plans and leading development of cross-functional launch support and is skilled in negotiation, business planning, consumer product sales, and market research. He earned his international management degree from the College of Business and Economics at Cal State Fullerton.
