About Make-A-Wish

Make-A-Wish® Foundation UK is part of a global movement creating life-changing wishes. Their only goal is to turn tears into cheers by giving children facing critical illness the chance to dream big even when they might not have long to live. Last year, Make-A-Wish UK granted over 1,200 wishes for critically ill children. The demand for wishes is far outpacing their best efforts to keep up, so it’s taking longer than ever to grant once-in-a-lifetime wishes. But the heartbreaking reality is that many families simply can’t wait this long. We’re proudly working together to help create lasting memories families will treasure forever, no matter what the future holds.

‘Thank you so much for granting Izzy’s wish. She had her first go in the hot tub this morning and it was just incredible! She was so smiley and kicking her legs about and it was so perfect for her brother to be able to hold and move with her. She loved it so much that she fussed when we first got out so we got straight back in! We may well be living in it.
